1 England First Party Candidate.

Preston ..Ribbleton.. Cotterill, Mark

England Watch were hoping for more candidates,

The EDP were talking about fielding 375, they didn’t manage to get a quarter of that number.

The EFP fielded 10 last year, this year it is just 1. This is their lowest number since they were formed!

The EPP fielded a singleton last year but even he didn’t show this time.

One England has still to field its first candidate above Parish level.

More information will follow!

  1. Regarding the England First Party, the decline in number of candidates isn’t as surprising as it might appear. Of the areas fought last year, only one (Pendle) is absent this time due to the candidate quitting politics. The others were Darlington, which has no May elections this year, but where the EFP’s Paul Thompson contested a by-election yesterday; Stoke, which has no elections this year; and Wigan, where last year’s EFP candidate Ian Hague has since sadly died.

Mark Cotterill is confident of a good result in Preston, and discussions are continuing between the EFP and a large group of present and former BNP activists. After the May elections I expect significant developments for the English nationalist cause.

    • Thank you for the additional information but it seems to highlight the fact that English nationalist parties have not grown as well as we could expect!
