ENGLISH DEMOCRATS, Is the Party over?

In next month’s County elections the English Democrats Party is fielding its lowest number of candidates in many years.

In the North East Region it has fielded zero candidates!

In the North West Region it has fielded zero candidates!

In the Yorkshire Region it has fielded zero candidates!

In the South West Region it has fielded just a single candidate!

In the West Mids Region it has fielded just a single candidate!

In the East Mids Region it has fielded five candidates! (all in Northamptonshire.)

In the East of England Region it has fielded seven candidates!

In the South East Region it has fielded its most candidates!

One in Surrey and ????????????? in Kent

The South East Area Chairman of the EDP, Steve Uncles claims;
“There are 25 English Democrats members with accepted nominations in Kent in 2013.”

But two of them are standing as New England Party candidates.

One of the remaining 23, one, Michael Walters, ( Leader Medway English Democrats , Kent Area Chairman. South East England Regional Executive Secretary.) has decided that he no longer wishes to represent the party in the KCC elections and has withdrawn his nomination.

That leaves 22 EDP candidates, (there were 24 in Kent in 2009)

Two of the 22, Liz Uncles and Steves Uncle, list Mr Walters address in Medway as their address, it is now becoming clear that they are not standing under their real names and they may not be residents of Michael Walters address.

These two are not the only EDP ‘candidates’ of which questions are being asked but we have been told that points raised will be investigated.

One of our Kentish readers has alerted us to this in the local online newspaper.

We are not saying that it has any conection to our post, it could just be a coincidence that the two were posted close together!
