No English Nationalist Candidate in South Shields.

Since the General Election of 2010 there have been 12 By-elections and the English Democrats Party has contested half of them, six.

There is no English nationalist candidate standing in South Shields next weekand, in the opinion of England Watch, this is an opportunity missed.

It is a high profile contest, being the former seat of David Miliband brother of the Labour leader Ed.
It will certainly receive much more media coverage than any single county council contest and would have been something that local candidates could have highlighted when canvasing in their county divisions.

Yes it would have cost £500 but this equates to just 15p each for Mr Tilbrook’s figure of 3,500 for EDP membership.
